Everything but country and rap. People choose their music venues as a class issue, missing out on great music.
There's been a lot in the news about Debbie Wasserman Shultz' Pakistani computer guy. Except of course it hasn't been in the news because it's about a Democrat scandal, not a Republican one. Here's one article; Google Imran Awan to learn more.
This is rather cool. A video flyover of Pluto.
Scott Adams, that sage famous for predicting the progress of Donald Trump, has a new analysis of his progresss from Hitler to Incompetent to Effective but we don't like it. Read his prediction.

How Planned Parenthood gets around the ban on "partial birth" abortion. They just "dismember".
Here's a fun video of a guy flying a wingsuit crashing trough a sign. Pretty accurate, cause it looks pretty small in the video.
Here's a blast from the past. Federal storm troopers raided the Gibson Guitar factory, something we all need to worry about as the government gets out of control. Of course that was in the Obama administration. In the Trump administration Gibson Guitars are celebrated as "made in America"
Is it safe to send your son or grandson to college where he may be charged with sexual assault? Not under Obama Administration guidlines. Betsy Devos is trying to roll back some of those rules. Trump's tweeting is making all the news, but little is being said about the terrific progress he is making in the Departments of Education, Energy and the EPA. Here's an update: Don't send your kids to an Ivy League College.
A professor at Johns Hopkins lost his job for making a politically incorrect joke. It's worth reading this for the joke.

Seattle is famously liberal. The situation around the court house has become untenable because of the homeless folk. They are working on the problem, but one city councilman objected to a plan to hose human feces off the sidewalk as racist.
A peer reviewed study says that global warming records are bogus. It further concludes that the EPA finding that CO2 is a pollutant is invalid, but we knew that anyway. Boring details here.
Ad Week judged these to be the best 25 ads of 2017 so far. In general, they're much superior to the over-rated Super Bowl ads. Click on the videos to properly enjoy them.
Garrison Keeler, when describing the kids in Lake Wobegon, says "and all of the students are above average". It's a joke of course, but it seems that all the high school students in America are above average, since 47% graduate with an A average.

Cool photo of marines firing an illumination round in Afghanistan
Snopes is the place to go to check out the latest urban legend or e-mail from that Nigerian prince. Unfortunately, they also lean liberal, so, for example, stories critical of Obama usually get smoothed over. Surprisingly, they published an article on "fake news" fact checking the media. Here's the article: The Lies of Donald Trump’s Critics
Further on the same subject, how the age of Trump has destroyed honest journalism

The physical border wall hasn't been built, but just the thought of Donald Trump is keeping illegal imigrants from crossing the border.
The liberals worst nightmare. What if Donald Trump has a successful presidency?

Here's a pretty good article by Charles Krauthammer on the problems with North Korea and possible solutions
This article argues that the Judeo-Christian religions are superior to Islam. There are plenty of reasons besides the ones mentioned.
An iceberg twice as big as Lake Erie just broke off Antarctica
In their haste to print anything bad about Trump, the media have made a lot of substantial errors in their reporting. Here's a roundup of their mistakes.
The Democrats have drifted so far left that they are losing their constituents and well as our way of life. This editorial in the New York Times argues that they need to get back to the center, with examples of where they went wrong.
Lester Holt took over for "Lyin Brian" as NBC nightly news anchor. He seems to be doing OK, where OK is defined an not being as biased as the other networks. Here's a nice article.

Are you, like me, impressed that the Romans made concrete that outlasted the empire, and in fact appears to be much tougher than modern concrete.
The petroleum industry standardized on a 42-gallon barrel as the preferred container for oil. Regardless of how the oil is packaged or transported, the unit of measure is the bbl, which stands for "blue barrel". Why blue?
Since I work in oil and gas exploration, among other geophysical pursuits, I made a point of watching the movie "Deepwater Horizon". It's a pretty good movie, unusually for Hollywood, accurate in its portrayal of the industry. Here's a review actually written by someone in the industry.
What happens when your GPS company rounds off your coordinates? You get lots of unwanted visitors.
I regret that I won't live long enough to see the total collapse of global warming hysteria. You would think that no warming for 20 years would convince some scientists, but they'll just keep adjusting the measurements.
Voter fraud has been in the news lately. It seems that the Democrats don't want to look into this, even though some of the statistics are troubling.
