Fake Science

It turns out that a lot of scientific studies can't be reproduced by other scientists. This happens in social science and especially global warming.

In an earlier blog post, I linked to an article on the most over-rated restaurants. I didn't agree with his choices, but posted it as a matter of interest. Now the author and provided a list of the most under-rated restaurants. The list while interesting has some more errors. But I do want to try the Korean twice-fried chicken.

How messed up are our college students? When this student was do a practice presentation for her thesis, her advisor suggested she might want to wear some more appropriate. She was so upset that she stripped down to her underwear in protest, and some other students supported her.

Mike Rowe is well known for suggesting some students might be better off learning practical skills rather than attend college. Naturally one woman was offended.

May 7th was the anniversary of the time a student amended the Constitution. He did this in response to a critical review from his teacher.

Charlie Rose was a respected newsman on PBS and CBS. Of course he was also abusive to his interns. Apparently it was an open secret for years.

There's a frustrating game that the left plays with conservatives. It's an Alinksy tactic called, "Make them live up to their values."  Now the tables are turning.

The Democrats are getting frustrated at Trump's success remaking the judiciary. It's their own fault for changing the rules.

People are learning to like Ike. Seems like he was pretty good at being President.
