The top 50 Christmas songs

The Ringer website has selected the top 50 holiday Christmas songs.  It's easy to take exception to the choices and the sequence, but this page has links to play every one of them. There are songs I've never heard of.

The Babylon Bee Christian themed satirical web site had an entry about Americans being shocked to discover Trump was still president. You can read it here.  As is often the case, the Bee turns out to be the paper of record, because lots of folk think he isn't president anymore.

Victor Davis Hanson says that the Democrats have made hate their agenda.

If you liked that, here's an even better analysis of the collusion in the dark state.

Social justice on the taxpayer's dime. Seattle is going insane.

A striking picture of the Apollo 17 lunar lander, the last one, landed 47 years ago on December 19.

For you media haters, here's a list of the twelve ways the media screwed up in 2019.

Christianity Today shot itself in the foot in an editorial by a guy who is about to retire and won't suffer for his actions.

How about a story about some people flying over Mt St. Helens during the eruption.

This writer thinks the climate crisis is an attempt to take over the economy using Marxist ideas.

Of course the FBI spied on the Trump campaign. More here on the Horowitz report from the AP.

Here's a article about how the Christchurch earthquake in New Zealand would devastate California.

If you haven't used up your free access to the New York Times, this oral history of technology is pretty interesting.  Click the icons to read the text.

Always informative and entertaining, a video of Victor Davis Hanson on the Democrat party debates.

A gentile guide to Chanukah and a Jew's guide to Christmas.

The California law  that makes it illegal to suspend disruptive students goes in to effect next year. The problem seems to be that black students are more disruptive than white students.  Now, nobody gets to learn.

The Democrats seem to be the lying party.

A pretty entertaining analysis of the Democrat's problem with impeachment.

A new missile that uses swords instead of explosives kills the bad guys without collateral damage.

Academic standards are deteriorating, at least the traditional critical thinking skills.

If you've been watching "The Mandalorian" Star Wars series on the Disney channel, you've no doubt become enamored with Baby Yoda, an obvious blatant merchandising ploy. Here's where to order your plush baby Yoda, but you'll have to wait until 2020. Disney obviously screwed up and missed the Christmas buying season a surprising bit of incompetence by the master of merchandising tie ins.

More evidence that the government is funding worthless degrees.

The career State Department folks are unhappy and that's a good thing.

Trumps action pale in comparison to former presidents.

Why is the World Bank lending money to China? Trump wants it to stop.

The Left hates most things good

The Left hates the Salvation Army. That's all you need to know about them.

LA is building homes for the homeless using shipping containers. It is costing $600K per home, more than a condominium in the area.

This is a fascinating article on the Cholera outbreak in Haiti.  Fascination because of the UN's efforts to cover up the cause, revealed by an reporter.  I especially enjoyed the part where some scientist tried to blame global warming.

How about a puppy found frozen in permafrost for 18,000 years.

The fired Navy Secretary reveals in an op-ed his problem with the chain of command.

A collection of the year's best pictures from National Geographic.

For global warming fans, did you know there are 100 different climate models from 47 different organizations.  Some of them predict much more global warming than others; probably because there's more research funding the more warming you predict.  I am skeptical that there are so many different models if these people are so sure about global warming.

An investigation in Ohio uncovered hundreds of illegal voters. We should do that in California.

A law professor schooled the Democrats on impeachment.

Do not miss what representative Matt Gaetz did at the impeachment hearings as he educates the Democrats.
