Pollsters wrong again


The Labor Party in Australia was polled to win in Australia, with a platform of higher taxes and more spending on global warming. Even the bookies paid off the bets early because the election was such a sure thing. Surprise, the Liberal (conservatives) Party won. How could the pollsters be so wrong as in the 2016 US election?

Germany's AfD Party is using painting of Muslim men enslaving white women in an ad campaign. Liberals are outraged over this affront to Muslims, but the history is compelling.  See the whole image here (warning nudity).

PETA is asking us to change common idioms to make them more animal friendly. For example, instead of "kill two birds with one stone" how about "feed two birds with one scone".
