According to government websites, the Presidential Medal of Freedom is for “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.” Liberals are upset about Rush Limbaugh receiving the Medal, but nobody who actually listens to him has a problem with the award.
