A federal appeals court overturned the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s approval of three proposed southeastern US natural gas pipelines and ordered the regulator to more closely examine potential environmental consequences of using gas that the systems would carry. The complaint seems to be that the natural gas would be used to generate electricity, which would generate CO2. Of course it would replace coal, which really generates CO2.

"The Nation" is a reliably liberal magazine, so it is particularly noteworthy that they published an article saying that the DNC computers were not hacked by the Russians or anyone else, but that it was an inside job. Somebody in the DNC leaked the e-mails. Here's a follow-up story in the Washington Post thats more concise.
