Victor Davis Hanson points out the illegality in the FISA warrants which were used to eavesdrop on Trump officials.

Famously liberal city Seattle has a serious homeless problem. They spend $1B a year on homelessness; there are about 10,000 homeless people in Seattle. That's $100,000 per homeless person every year, enough to put them up in a nice middle class home.

This writer is suggesting that the investigations are actually a cover-up to protect the real criminals.
Planning to see the movie about Dick Cheney? Christian Toto says it's liberal propaganda.
In 2013, virtually every Democrat Senator that's still around endorsed the border fence. Now that Trump wants it, they are opposed. The usual hypocrisy from politicians.

The New York Times pulled some Christmas movie reviews out of the archives. The actual movies held up better than the reviews.
Speaking of Christmas movies, here's a Hallmark Christmas movie junkie.

The Clinton Foundation
Here's an update on the Clinton Foundation. It seems that Bill was unable to keep from mixing funds and donations have gotten a lot smaller since Hillary lost the election.
Michael Flynn was set up according to this author because he was on the wrong side of history.
The always insightful Victor Davis Hanson on the Mueller probe.
63 percent of ‘non-citizens’ are on welfare, confirmed by the census. Maybe Trump is right that illegal immigrants are a drain on taxpayer dollars.
President Bush's internment was honored with a flyover by 21 jets. You can watch the video here. That was nice, but they really should have rounded up one of those torpedo bombers that George Bush flew. I saw one at Battle Lake Minnesota a couple of years ago at a modest little fly-in. When they unfolded the wings and fired up that big radial, the prop wash almost blew me over. There are plenty of flying Avengers around including one at the George H. W. Bush presidential library.
Donald Trump and his people are doing a thousand things to make America great again. These things stay under the radar because the media focuses on his tweets. One example is changes in the school lunch program, a disaster under Michelle Obama.
China continues its practice of persecuting Christians. A large number of worshippers were arrested.
A holiday without. I almost didn't post this, but the explanation of why candy canes are unacceptable is too good to miss.
A newly discovered cave in Canada is like really big; big enough to fit the Statue of Liberty. There are some nice videos. Take note of the ones with people in the picture. Also note how politically correct the Canadian geologists are.
A Dallas Cowboys football player dropped $21 into a Salvation Army kettle and the NFL fined him for unsportsmanlike conduct. Where was the NFL when football players were kneeling during the National Anthem.
This gay journalist became a conservative. He found out that being conservative is worse than being gay.

Politicians always talk about "affordable housing". There are a lot of ways to reduce the cost of housing, starting with the building codes, but the politicians are going the other way by requiring solar panels on all new homes.

Ballot harvesting
What is ballot harvesting? It's the latest way for Democrats to steal elections. Eight Republicans candidates lost despite winning the count on election day.
More on the stolen elections and proof that the Republican Party is not crooked enough to compete.
Al Sharpton is selling the rights to his life story for $531,000. He sold it to his own charity. The charity already pays him a salary of over $200,000.
Here's a story in the New York Times about how the world missed its change to end global warming. It's a history piece the won the "Energy Writer of the Year Award". Compelling images are included. I need to read further to see if it mentions all the dire predictions that didn't come true or if it discusses the contrary view that anthropogenic global warming might be a scam.
Here's a photo of Lt. jg George Bush in his Grumman TBF Avenger torpedo bomber. On a side note, the torpedo bombers were wiped out at the decisive Battle of Midway, but the aerial bombers sunk the Japanese carriers.

The secret to southern biscuits
Why can't you make biscuits like they do in the south? Here's the answer.
Ever wonder how these two cities got wiped out? Science has an answer.
If you are worried about the zombie apocalypse, you will be pleased to know that the military has war plans to deal with it.
Trump is right about Saudi Arabia. Strategic issues have always required us to work with evil people.
Do you know somebody who likes to knit? Here's an interesting challenge: temari balls.
Was Chief Justice John Roberts right in his criticism of Donald Trump? See what Fox News has to say.
When was the worst year in human history? Scientists claim that it was 536 AD.
Scientists have concluded that all humans came from one couple. Adam and Eve?
New Dem Tactic: We Were Thinking What Trump's Been Saying All Along.
The stands are half empty at the football games. Is it because of millionaire players kneeling during the National Anthem or is it the outrageous prices. I certainly wouldn't pay $100 for a ticket, $40 to park, $12 for a beverage and $8 for a hot dog.
Psychology has a problem. They can't seem to replicate a majority of the science that influences decisions.
You were promised there would be no math, but you would think the people in Washington state who collect sales tax would have a working understanding. Turns out they don't, as this taco restaurant found out.
There was a public debate between Jerry Brown and Donald Trump about the fires and forest management. Turns out Trump is right.
Both Feinstein and Harris are objecting to one of Trump's nominations to the Ninth Circuit Court. No surprise there, but the guy looks like a great choice.
Here's a humorous photo essay on Thanksgiving
The government's regular global warming report is out and dominating the news this week, revealing of course that the interns at the media know nothing of science or the ability to read critically. Here's a roundup of previous climate change warnings.
The big news this week has been the plant closings at GM, with reports dominating the loss of jobs. Hardly any mention of the problem that nobody is buying actual cars anymore. If you recall from the Romney-Obama election, Romney said that GM should have been allowed to go bankrupt (which if nothing else would have allowed them to get out of those insane union contracts). Turns out Romney was right and the media were ignorant as usual about things that were not that complicated.
Was Jesus really resurrected or was that just another example of "fake news"? Here's the follow up article discussing the evidence.
I have a friend from Bulgaria, and have total ignorance about the history of that country. I was researching it on Wikipedia, which is always a tar baby because the links to interesting subjects take you around the site. I ended up at this cemetery near Varnia. The graves contain the oldest known gold jewelry, dating from 4500 BC. Take a look at this fellow buried a really long time ago along with his decorative gold.
The news about the migrants being tear gassed at the border brought back fond memories of my time in basic training. Tear gas isn't as bad as the media would have you believe and Obama did it almost monthly, which you don't hear from the media.
As you know, the schools aren't teaching history anymore in favor of social justice and the kids are woefully ignorant. Half of Younger Millennials Think Barack Obama Had a Bigger Impact Than George Washington.
In order to legally protect an endangered species habitat, it helps if actual endangered species live there.
There are some politicians objecting to our immigration policy. If you don’t believe in borders, should you be deciding US immigration policy?
The Chinese military is having budget problems, making tradeoffs between their aircraft carrier and their advanced fighter jets. This may be because of Trumps trade policies. I found it interesting that their jet engines are only good for 1500 hours.

Stuffing or dressing?
So, that dish served with turkey: is it stuffing or dressing?
It's Thanksgiving and you forgot to defrost your Turkey. How to roast a frozen Turkey.
A rather nice photo of the moon, with a Swedish mountain and an airplane.
The crash of the Indonesia 737 was caused by a new safety feature, which unfortunately, Boeing forgot to tell the pilots about.
Here's a letter from an Australian on how Americans should run an election.
You've seen people in movies put two fingers in their mouth and whistle really loud. Here's instructions on how to do that.
Jonah Goldberg finds current events just so entertaining. You can't make this stuff up.
Several key mistakes were made in the Parkland shooting. Nine months later no one is being held accountable. This is the same Broward County that can't run an election.
Are nuclear bombs safe? When can you shoot one with your gun.
This article on the Mexican caravan is worth looking at just to see the Mayor wearing his "Make Tijuana Great Again" hat.
Here's a fun take on those vandals in Bulgaria: they are defacing statues of Russian soldiers.
There's a group of black kids in Minnesota who like to order meals and run off without paying for them. A Chipotle manager, who recognized them, asked them to demonstrate that they could pay for the meals before serving them. The black folks posted a video of the exchange, which went viral. Chipotle fired the manager. It turns out that the black folks were bragging on the Internet about "dine and dash". More on the story here. This story actually made the news on TV this week, but of course they left out a lot of facts.
Science is having a problem with "junk science". The experiments don't seem to be reproducible, but we are spending money and doing things as if they were.
If you are wondering why it's so cold in the Northeast on Thanksgiving, read this article on global warming's problems.
Here's a terrible judicial ruling that appears to be Constitutionally correct, but what does that say about abortion?

The Kavanaugh hearings cost the Democrats the Senate
This writer thinks that the way the Democrats treated Kavanaugh cost them the Senate.
Have trouble getting clothes that fit? The Zozosuit and your smart phone have an answer.
There was much news this week about the death of Stan Lee, creator of all those super heroes featured in comics and blockbuster movies. I hadn't realized that he had a cameo in those movies. Here's a video of every cameo by Stan Lee.

If you think love is a battlefield, how about this married couple fought side-by-side in Iraq.
Don't eat garden slugs, even on a dare.
By the time you read this, the vote counting in Broward county may be over, but they'll keep counting until the Democrats win.
The University of Texas is having problems with hiring the best qualified and still meeting their goals.
We're having fires in California. Trump is blaming our forest management practices. This writer says Trump is right.
There wasn't much coverage of the altercation between Tucker Carlson and a guy in a bar who insulted Tucker's daughter. Here's a surprising connection between him and the women's movement.
Remember that picture of the guys going to the prom who formed a Nazi salute. It got nationwide coverage in the media. Turns out this was more "fake news".
Oops, another error in global warming science. A little mistake in the calculations.
Harvard is being sued. It seems they discriminate against a minority race.

Anchor babies, are they citizens?
Anchor babies are in the news because of Trump's plan to eliminate them by executive order. Read this history of the 14th Amendment. A more scholarly explanation by Matthew Spalding from Hillsdale College.
The four "big bangs" that kill atheism
Here's a terrific roundup up of the Democrats efforts to block the Kavanaugh Hearings and how the media turned him into a rapist. Missing of course was that scene when Ms. Ford found out that the committee would have been happy to come to California to talk to her, but the lawyer shut down that line of enquiry by referring to attorney-client privilege. Of course the lawyers were working for the Democrats, not their client, and they never told her about the offer; they wanted to create optics of the evil Republicans cross-examining the innocent victim. Also missing was that scene at the end when one of the Democrat staffers handed the lawyer a check in an envelope on national television.
Washington DC has a new museum of the Bible. Reviews are quite positive, making it a "must see" if you get to Washington.
Regular readers of my blog know my opinion that the Pope is clueless when it comes to economics (and perhaps theology). Here's a report from Michael Moore that the Pope thinks capitalism is a sin.
Here's a fun speech on global warming by a Nobel laureate. He is skeptical.
San Francisco is worried that some of its high rise buildings may fall down in an earthquake. They may actually do something about it. Earthquake problems with single-family homes can be fixed at a reasonable cost if done ahead of time.
This link is worth looking at just to see Jennifer Garner without makeup.

Last week, when Trump visited the synagog, a cameraman took a video of a lady screaming at the motorcade. Watch the video here. It went viral on the Internet. Notable was her quote that "everybody is welcome in our neighborhood" and "you are not welcome here". It turns out that the lady is a Presbyterian minister. Here's an analysis based on what the Bible says.
Victor Davis Hanson joins the CNN is fake news bandwagon.
Martha McSally appears to have won the Senate race in Arizona. Besides flying fighter jets, she can also sing. Watch this video of her singing God Bless America at her victory party. And here she is singing the National Anthem at the ASU homecoming football game.
Progressives business model is suffering because of push back from real Americans. Get woke go broke.

Mathew Shepard
Mathew Shepard's ashes were laid to rest this week in the National Cathedral. His murder resulted in "hate crime" laws. Was he really killed for being gay?
Anti-Saudi journalist Khashoggi was murdered in the embassy, and the media are making a big deal of it because he was one of them. The question is why would the Washington Post hire someone who was an avowed Muslim?
Remember those Oregon bakers that lost their business over baking a cake for a gay wedding? They are appealing to the Supreme Court.
Abandoned mines remain in the west, presenting danger to explorers.
A mom with a gut feeling stopped a school shooter before the atack.
On october 27, 1838, the governor of Missouri issued an executive order that Mormons should be exterminated.
Some global warming alarmists are being sued over demonstrably false statements.
Democrats repeatedly asserted that Christine Blasey Ford had “nothing to gain” by coming forward with her explosive accusation of attempted rape against the Supreme Court nominee. Her Go Fund Me account is approaching a million dollars.
Dad at McDonald's with kids shoots and kills masked gunman who opened fire at the restaurant.
The secret to successful lying? Brazenness. Consider the example of Obama.
Blackface is in the news because Meghan Kelly's show was cancelled over remarks she didn't know were offensive. Here's a little background on other well-known performers who actually wore blackface and still have jobs.

The way the Democrats treated Kavanaugh has energized the Republican base so much so that the election may not go the way the Democrats were anticipating. Here's a story on how upset people were. And the media made it worse.
Are you a movie fan? Here's a list of the worst movies released since 1950.
We watched the Kavanaugh hearings. There was a major moment when it came out that Ford didn't know that the committee offered to come to California. That was because her lawyers were actually working for the Democratic party and were constructing a media event. When it came out, Ford's lawyer actually covered the microphone and said this was part of attorney-client privileged communication to try and keep it secret. A complaint has been filed with the bar association about this scheme.

Why aren't liberals fun anymore?
Why aren't liberals fun anymore? They've lost their sense of humor.
This may be a moot issue by the time you read it, but this writer says the Republicans need to vote on Kavanaugh or get wiped in the elections for not doing their jobs.
Feel distracted when you pray? That's a good thing.
Even with Garoppolo out, the 49ers aren't interested in Colin Kaepernick.
The education establishment has gone insane. A first grade textbook champions Gavin Newsom as a champion of gay rights.
Here's some background on the woman chosen to question the witnesses at the Kavanaugh hearings.
Michelle Obama encourages people who know nothing about nothing to vote. I don't personally subscribe to the "get out the vote" philosophy. I believe that only informed voters ought to get to vote, perhaps even having a simple test. Something trivial, like "name your two senators and the vice president". A lot of voters would fail that one.
Did you get invited to a Sukkot feast. Here's some background on the Jewish celebration and the end times.

Johnny Cash
I have been a Johnny Cash fan for over sixty years. Here's a terrific essay about his music and evangelism. One of the reasons I don't like modern music is that they pump us the accompaniment track so loud you can understand the vocals. Listen to Johnny Cash and you can understand every word the first time you hear it.
Who knew that Billy Graham performed on one of Johnny's albums. Here are Johnny and Billy at the Grand Old Opry in Tennesee.
Understanding the partisanship of the Kavanaugh hearings
Is the Catholic Church falling apart? This writer covers the issue in detail.
Bob Woodward looked hard for two years for evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. He didn't find any, nor did anyone else.
An unusual byproduct of organ transplants. An organ donor gave cancer to four recipients.
The FBI closed an isolated sunspot research facility on September 6 without explanation. People were convinced it was due to alien activity.
Christian rock. Larry Norman's biography: “Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music?,”
By the time you read this, the battle may be over--an excellent essay on the Supreme Court nomination.
A thoughtful review of Tomas Sowell's book on racial disparities.
Maybe you've quit answering the phone. Why nobody answers the phone anymore.
Want to get hired as a professor? Better not be a member of the NRA or a conservative Republican.
Which documents are more reliable? The writings of Aristotle and Plato or Mathew, Mark, Luke and John?
Minneapolis hired a Somali Muslim cop who shot a woman. They did this despite the fact that he was not suitable to be a policeman to make a statement a inclusiveness.

The Kavanaugh letter
The latest on the Kavanaugh secret letter that Feinstein has been holding. This might have come out in the news, but I am posting it in case it doesn't.
Google held their regular Friday employee meeting after the election. Breitbart got a copy of the video and posted it here. Apparently the leadership and many employees were quite dismayed and surprised at the outcome. I have seen many recommendations to watch the whole thing. Apparently being smart about computers doesn't translate to real life.
Want to get elected in New York? Just lie about everything.
St. Johns University actually seeks to educate its students. More perspective here on future proofing students.
Fun facts about the NFL's tolerance towards protests. Apparently it depends on what you are protesting.
Was life better 40 years ago? Here are seven aspects that I miss.
On September 11, 1683 another great conflict between Muslims and Christians was fought with the fate of Europe in the balance.
Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently won the Democrat primary against a powerful entrenched Democrat. She loves socialism, and like most wants to take your money. She has expensive tastes in clothes,
A couple of fun hurricane videos: watch this weatherman struggling to stand up but keep watching the passersby. Here's a Ferris wheel spinning in the wind. And this flag on the frying pan tower offshore. Scroll down to see what the frying pan tower is.

Chris and I have been enjoying the Kavanaugh hearings. I don't see how any Democrat could vote against him after watching him answer questions, but some of them clearly have no business being in office. Consider this exchange with Kamala Harris, who is running for President. Here's a little excerpt from Ben Stein's diary. And the Democrats are bring out the kids to testify about jurisprudence. Ben Sasse's speech at the hearings was the strongest moment. He wants congress to do its job. Watch the video.
Here in Minnesota we had record breaking cold up north. Where is global warming when you need it?
Most of us don't know much about Nancy Pelosi except that her time is past and she is having mental issues. I found this article in Time about her history interesting, though I still don't agree with her on much of anything.
The Academy Awards have a problem: nobody goes to see the movies that win the awards. In response, the Academy created a new category: “outstanding achievement in popular film.” Now they are backtracking.

Obama received an award for "ethics in government" from the University of Illinois. This puts a whole new meaning on the word "ethics". Read the links in the article.
The Babylon Bee is a fun parody site with a Christian perspective. Check out this article on 8 steps to finding the right church.
The people don't care what the media says anymore. Why Trumps record trumps the spin.
Remember the Alamo? Liberal educators want to remove "heroic" from the curriculum.
This homecoming queen kicked the game winning extra point.
Worth revisiting: 14 great quotes from Thomas Sowell.
Political correctness is coming to math. This professor thinks math promotes academic apartheid.

The California Senate passed the law prohibiting counseling against LGBT practices.
Sarah Palin was excluded from John McCain's funeral.
The head of the California Democratic Party called for a boycott of In-N-Out Burger after the hamburger chain donated $25,000 to the Republican Party. The boycott is having limited success.
There's been a debate lately between CNN and the conservative media over whether Trump knew about the meeting between the Russians and Jared Kushner. That prompted this collection of CNN mistakes.
Be careful what you say on social media, assuming you have time to waste there. Here is a list of seven people who suffered from inappropriate tweets.
A Christian pastor, a former Muslim, was arrested at the Mall of America in Minnesota. He was talking to some Somali immigrants who are legion in Minnesota.
Colin Kaepernick is the latest athlete chosen by Nike to represent their brand. Some people are upset, even some you wouldn't expect to be in that group.
Most nutrition information is bunk, but of course you figured that out when eggs and butter became good things.
This student was stopped from handing out "Jesus loves you" valentines. Now she's suing for free speech.
If there's any question that civility is dead, it was confirmed by the Kavanaugh hearings.

If you think homosexuality is a bad, you could be in trouble.
A bill working its way through the California legislature would ban Christian-based counseling people with conflicts over their sexuality. Supposedly, the bill would even ban Bible sales, but even if there's an exclusion, it has other problems. Here's a little something for you nostalgia buffs: there are a few drive-in theaters left.
A pictorial revue of airplanes from Lockheed's Skunk Works.
Remember that college professor who bashed seven people in the head with a padlock? He got no jail time, but tease a buffalo and go to jail.
Some people have too much free time. After two years of discussion, PETA has convinced Nabisco to change the design of their animal crackers box to show the animals roaming free. Now the lion is free to eat the zebra.

The global warming enthusiasts are trying to convince the media to stop covering the skeptics.
Keith Ellison is a congressman from Minnesota and deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee. He is also a Muslim. He is running for Attorney General and is unqualified for a number of reasons.
The majority of Americans can't name a single Supreme Court Justice, but I'll bet they could name at least one Kardashian.

Skills everyone should know
There are essential skills everyone should know. Popular Mechanics has listed 100 of them.

Some stories just sound like parodies but are accurate. San Francisco bans everything.
Is San Francisco ready for the "big one"? The USGS doesn't think so.
An Iraqi spy that infiltrated ISIS, preventing dozens of bombings. A compelling story.
South Africa has started appropriating farms owned by whites, putting the country on the road to Zimbabwe's misery. The US Media doesn't seem to think it's worth mentioning. Here's a graph of the effects of land reform in Zimbabwe:

Folks in Ohio's 12th District are really healthy. 170 of them are over 116 years old.
Some college professors are trying to ruin students minds with their liberal teaching. This professor was doing it with physical assault and got a slap on the wrist.
Want to teach at Cal Poly? You need a proper attitude towards diversity to get hired.
What's the reason for the steady downward spiral of the prestige and power of the major media? It turns out "the dogs don't like it".
Just one little victory for conservatives in the Trump administration: the IRS gives up some power and the Left doesn't like it.
A little history: where did the word "bork" come from in relation to the Supreme Court and how does it apply to Judge Kavanaugh?
More here. A liberal feminist lawyer supporting Judge Kavanaugh.
Obama claims to have had a scandal-free administration. Here's six times he should have appointed a special prosecutor.
What is Trump's greatest talent and why does it terrify Democrats?
Is it time to junk racial quotas in higher education? There are good reasons to do so.

DACA
Obama created the DACA program for illegal immigrants by a memo. Now Trump is rescinding it, but the Left is adopting the usual method of finding a judge somewhere to rule that changing Obama's memo is unconstitutional. The practice of judges making up their own laws ought to stop.
There's a museum in Washington DC called the "Neuseum". It's a museum of the news business. The media got pretty upset because they were selling MAGA hats and "Fake News" T-shirts.
You saw in the news that an assassination attempt was made on Venezuelan President Maduro. Some suspect it was fake.
Six times in the Obama administration when a Special Counsel should have been appointed.

A very cool picture of the moon's total eclipse
The Southern Poverty Law Center used to fight the KKK. Lately they've turned into a liberal hate group that targets conservative and religious organizations. Jeff Sessions may investigate.
Do you remember that picture in National Geographic of a starving polar bear caused by global warming? Turns out it was a lie.
Do public servants sacrifice income to work for the state? Not in Florida where 35,000 make over $100,000 a year. Here's some more: you won't believe how much Florida's Domestic Violence chief is paid.
Donald Trump is dragging us into peace and prosperity, while the Democrats are advocating Socialism.
The division of Germany after World War II is one of the best practical comparisons between these disparate ideologies. The almost 30-year contest between socialism and capitalism brought results that were dramatic and indisputable. The Communist-controlled socialism of East Germany brought poverty, despair and a wall to keep people in against their will. Capitalism brought the exact opposite.A great comment on gun control:
So, you think that there's a bumbling madman in the White House who is Literally Hitler, and that the military is made up of reactionary goons who swear fealty to this guy, and the police of the nation are engaged in a coordinated conspiracy to straight-up murder oppressed minorities...and also those are the only people who should have gunsThe FBI used a thing called a FISA application to get legal authority to wiretap various people associated with the Trump campaign. It turns out that fraudulent evidence was used to justify this and the authority should never have been granted. More here: the Nunes memo has caused this person to lose his faith in the FBI.
John Brennnan, Obama's CIA director, has been in the news a lot criticizing Donald Trump. Here's a letter to him suggesting he isn't qualified for this role.

against Russia. One might also title the post “10 Facts That Prove Much of the
MSM is Off Its Rocker.” Or how about this? “10 Facts To Make Putin Think Twice
About Messing With Trump.” Take your pick.
In the New York Democratic primary, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old former Bernie Sanders organizer, knocked off incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley—the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus. Crowley was considered by many to be second in line to be speaker of the House if Democrats capture the chamber in the November elections. Ms. Cortez is a Socialist, a stylish theme among Democrats these days. Like many Socialists, she doesn't seem to understand economics, despite being fourth in her class at Boston U. She doesn't seem to understand international relationships either, just mouthing liberal talking points.
Maybe we should teach our children how to get jobs, not to be social justice warriors.

Trump and Putin round-up
Diplomacy vs. politics. A thoughtful analysis of the Trump-Putin summit.
And what the critics missed about the summit, with a little extra on Strzok.
Surprisingly, Rand Paul seems to be the only congressman supporting Trump. Watch the video to see how the media become advocates instead of reporters.
From Roger Simon, former liberal. The Putin summit may be Trump's finest hour.
Folks in the media are the smartest people in the world and Trump is stupid. Of course he's a billionaire and president of the U.S.
Trump throws a wrench into the server. Where is it?
A pretty interesting but lengthy analysis of how the FBI allegedly followed the trail of the Russian hacking.
The Russians and the narratives. It's all about the narratives.
Trump isn't acting like a Russian mole. Look at the list of things he's doing.
The FBI and DOJ are stonewalling congress in hopes that the Democrats will win in November and kill the probe into their activities.
Here's a liberal, Noam Chomsky, with his take on the summit.

And, a roundup of non-Trump news:

A good week on the Supreme Court
The court ruled that people don't have to give money to unions to keep their job. Here is an egregious example from the ruling: "Dewhirst argued that Abood had "spawned all types of corrupt problems." Washington Governor Jay Inslee, for example, benefitted from more than $700,000 in union dollars at the very time Inslee himself was negotiating with these unions in 2016."
And of course the court ruled that Trumps ban on immigrants from certain countries was legal.
And, the court ruled that women's pro-life support organizations were not required to refer patients to abortion clinics.
After the conclusion of the session, Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement. He has been a swing vote. Trump will get another pick.
All three of these rulings were 5 to 4, with the conservative justices ruling on the law and the liberals ruling on what they thought the law should be instead.
Here's a Supreme Court argument that cost liberals the election.

There is a movie in progress that allegedly will give Ronald Reagan his due for a change.
Gavin Newsom will be the next governor of California. He is liberalism personified and another example of what's wrong with the state.
One problem with America is that the younger generation are not joining service organizations.
The First Amendment does not require that we be nice to journalists.
And the left's favorite president. We really did have a Manchurian candidate in the White House.
