The mainstream media gives you daily reports on the war in Ukraine, but not much about the tactical situation. The Institute for the Study of War on the other hand provides daily detailed information on the actual conflict on the ground. Go there is you want to know how the war is going for both sides.

We have been following the reports on the shootings in downtown Sacramento last weekend, which left six people dead and injured a dozen more.  It’s clear now that the shooting was the result of a conflict among groups of people that turned into a gun battle on a crowded street filled with patrons leaving as bars closed. As the investigation continues, Sacramento police assert gang violence as at the heart of the incident.

At one point, K-mart had about 7000 stores. They ridiculed that little upstart in Arkansas. Now there are only three stores left.
