A project by Oregon State has rounded up signatures from 11,000 scientists warning us about the dangers of global warming. One writer looked at the list, which includes all kinds of scientists, and found only 240 (2%) individuals with professions that can be construed as bona fide meteorologists, climatologists, or atmospheric scientists. Since there are 10,000 such scientists in the US, that seems like a minority. The list is currently unavailable while they purge it of names like Micky Mouse and Albus Dumbledore from Hogwarts.
